Cytoskeleton at Northwestern University
![]() |
Northwestern University has a strong community in the
studies of cytoskeleton and cell adhesion. The Department
of Cell and Molecular Biology at Northwestern continues to play its
role as the major hub in forging close communication among investigators
here at Northwestern as well as the greater Midwest region.
Our bi-weekly Cytoskeleton Journal Club allows its members to bring important journal articles to the attention of the local group at Northwestern. The monthly mini-conferences, the Chicago Cytoskeleton Club (CCC), bring together investigators from Northwestern University, University of Chicago, University of Illinois-Chicago, University of Illinois-Champaign Urbana, Indiana University, Purdue University, Notre Dame, and elsewhere in Wisconsin and Missouri. These monthly conferences, based at Northwestern Medical School, provide great opportunities for scientists at every stage of their career to discuss their latest findings before an audience, either in seminar or at posters. |
